When I was just a little girl, I set upon this path
Of which i did not choose, its due to the after math
Of a storm that swept in and took all of my family
Leaving me an orphan child with a brand new destiny

Often had I heard the sound of the sirens screamin out
But never had a tornado touched down in this town
As I rose from the rubble after days of bein trapped
