While in Nashville, 21 year old KC songwriter, Lily B Moonflower, received the opportunity to visit The Ryman for the Americana Music Honors & Awards show! Lily shares her experiences with us by first saying, "Its always been a dream of mine to visit the Ryman in Nashville and now my dream has came true!" Ever since she was 10 years old she wanted to visit. She mentions, "I almost couldn't believe how lucky & honored I was to be in the room with all of my favorite musicians such as Lukas Nelson, Brandi Carlile, John Prine, Tyler Childers, Sara Watkins, Emmy Lou Harris, and sooo many more! Every performance was outstanding and the experience brought me to tears, made me laugh til I fell off my seat, and I left, the happiest of souls!" The Ryman is such a special, historical place. So many legendary musicians and humans have performed and visited and when you enter, you can smell the passion and taste the happiness. Everyone should visit at least once in their life.
